The following schedule changes have been announced due to the inclement weather forecast for January 10 – 11, 2025.
- Parks and Recreation – All games and practices scheduled for January 10 and 11 are canceled. A make-up game schedule will be announced next week.
- ABC Stores – All Currituck County ABC stores (Moyock, Grandy, and Corolla) will close at 7:00 pm on Friday, January 10. Stores will open on Saturday, January 11 at 10:00 am.
- Library – All Currituck Public Library branches will be closed on Saturday, January 11.
- COA – The College of the Albemarle campuses will close at 8:00 pm on Friday, January 10, and COA has canceled all Friday evening and Saturday activities. This includes the COA Currituck campus in Barco.
- Convenience Centers – All trash and recycling convenience centers will have a delayed opening at 9:00 am on Saturday, January 11 and remain open until 7:00 pm.
- Transfer Station – The transfer station will have a delayed opening at 9:00 am on Saturday, January 11 and remain open until 1:00 pm.
- Animal Shelter – The Animal Shelter will be closed on Saturday, January 11. The Animal Shelter will be open to the public on Sunday, January 12 from 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm.
