Electronic Bid Documents may be purchased from Anlauf Engineering, PLLC, for $50.00 by cash or a check made payable to Anlauf Engineering, PLLC. Phone number (252)489-7143. Prime Contractors must purchase a complete set of plans, specifications and supporting documents from the Engineer in order to be considered a Plan Holder and to submit a bona fide bid. Bid documents will be provided on a thumb drive in electronic format only. Addendums will be through Dropbox.

Bidder Requirements
Each Bidder must show evidence that it is licensed under Chapter 87 of the General Statutes of North Carolina. A certified check or cashier’s check payable to Currituck County or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by a corporate surety licensed under the laws of North Carolina to execute such bonds in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. A conditional or qualified bid will not be accepted.
The successful bidder shall be required to furnish separate one hundred percent (100%) Performance and Payment Bonds in compliance with the North Carolina General Statutes Section §143-129 and of Article 3 of Chapter 44A. The Performance Bond shall be in full force and effect for one (1) year after the date of final acceptance of the project buy the Owner.
Each bidder must complete and submit along with a bid an E-Verify Affidavit to comply with North Carolina General Statutes.
