Have you ever tried to grow an avocado from a pit, with no luck? Or maybe you’ve seen a video online showing how to grow exotic, tropical fruit? If you’ve ever wondered how to start your own tropical fruit garden, N.C. Cooperative Extension Currituck County Center has the class for you!

Join us on Thursday, April 21, 2022, from 9:00-10:00 a.m. for our Mater Gardener Volunteers’ Speakers Bureau Series April class, Starting Tropical Fruits.

This free class will cover what tropical fruits you can buy from the store, eat, and grow into your very own tropical fruit garden. We’ll cover how to process and plant the seeds, care for the seedlings, and maintain your plants for years to come!

Register for this class through our Eventbrite link (startingtropicalfruits.eventbrite.com).
