Plants are becoming more and more expensive! Save money and share plants with your friends and neighbors by learning how to propagate and grow your prized plants at home. Plant propagation is the process of creating new plants.

Rooting plant in a glass of water on a table. The most common method of propagating plants is by taking stem cuttings. This workshop will teach you to properly take, plant, and raise stem cuttings into healthy vibrant plants. Many of the most popular shrubs are quite easy to root using this method.

Join us at the North Carolina Cooperative Extension, Currituck County Center on Monday, July 19, 2021 from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. for this fun, interactive class. All participants will learn how to propagate plants using various techniques and construct and take home working stem cutting bins.
