Registration is now open for the Race on the Runway, to be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Currituck Regional Airport. This special event will include 10K and 5K races, along with a one mile children’s fun run. The 10K and 5K races begin at 8:30 am and the one mile fun run begins at 9:30 am.
Runners will enjoy a course that includes the airport’s taxiway, roads, and trails. All proceeds from Race on the Runway will benefit a local group that works with abused or trafficked children.
After Race on the Runway, stick around for a day of family fun at Planes & Plows, which is open from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm. Planes & Plows will include a festive parade, airplane flyovers, aviation displays, children’s activities, vendor booths, agricultural demonstrations, music, food, Candy Drop, and more!
